The Integral family of imaging companies focuses on innovative technologies that can have a major impact on patient management and care in communities throughout the northeastern United States. These include nuclear cardiology, positron emission tomography and general nuclear medicine imaging.
Integral bases every phase of its operations and all its relationships on a commitment to a quality experience for both patients and the physicians with whom we work. At Integral-affiliated or operated sites you will find superior facilities, personnel, operations, education and marketing.
Integral
Nuclear
Integral Nuclear includes 14 fully operational cardiac sites in four states-New
York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland. These performed more than 13,000
cardiac studies last year. At each Integral Nuclear site there is a special
emphasis on patient care and physician service.
Superior
Facilities
Integral Nuclear facilities are focused on both the needs of
the patient and the physician. They include state-of-the-art nuclear cameras
and ancillary equipment, the latest software such as the Emory Cardiac Toolbox,
and vendor contracted maintenance and service programs. Integral facilities
are at convenient locations, with separate entrances, and comfortable reception
and patient prep areas.
Outstanding
Personnel
Integral Nuclear staff are extensively trained and certified
within their fields. Our staffing includes a Medical Director, Radiation Safety
Officer, Health Physicist, Certified Nuclear Technologists, ACLS Registered
Nurses and Quality Assurance/Quality Control personnel.
Quality
Operations
Integral Nuclear believes that quality operations yield superior
results.
Your patients are our
patients. That commitment is reflected in every part of the patient experience,
including the scheduling and confirmation of appointments, and in how our
staff prepare and monitor your patients during their tests.
Quality
Control
Our deepest commitment, however, is to ensuring that every
study is performed to the highest quality standards. We engage a full-time,
certified professional QA officer. He monitors our cameras to ensure that
they comply with their published specifications and that their image quality
is excellent. He develops site-specific protocols and is available to respond
immediately to any problems that may arise. Our corporate Medical Director
is available for consultation and review of quality assurance questions.
Billing
& Reimbursement
For many sites we assume all responsibility for third party
billing, contracting and collections. As a result, our medical practitioners
are free to concentrate on patient care.
Integral
Nuclear & Education
Integral Nuclear believes in providing physicians access to
a full spectrum of resources to enhance their practices. This includes case
studies, clinical pathway and best practice information. Our medical director
is available for second opinions and, should it be requested, for regular
overreads.
Beginning in early 2002, Integral Nuclear will launch a unique online educational program for physicians and professional staff. Together with Montefiore Medical Center we are developing a series of nuclear medicine courses covering cardiac imaging, general nuclear medicine and PET.
Marketing
Support to Build The Practice
Integral has an established marketing program that is customized
for each of our facilities. An experienced marketing specialist works with
each site to maintain current referrals and helps to build your overall practice.
The marketing representative's efforts are supported by patient-oriented materials
and, as appropriate, print and broadcast advertising and promotion.
